* For 1 year, gearbox will be replaced at no charge, FOB
factory. From 1 year to 18 months, gearbox will be replaced at
50% of normal
purchase price. After 18 months and up to 2 years, gearbox
will be replaced at 75% of normal purchase price.
** Diamond blade performance is guaranteed relevant to its
normal usage.
There are no warranties, express or implied, madeby Multiquip
hereunder on products manufacturedor distributed by it except
the warranty againstdefects in materials and workmanship on new
products to the original purchaser, as hereinafter
set forth. Multiquip warrants products manufactured by it tobe
free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and
proper use and servicing for the periods specified on the
reverse side of this page. Warranty on the engines supplied
with the equipment is limited to the warranty extended by the
engine manufacturer. Multiquip’s sole obligation under
this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair, at its
designated facility, of only the part or parts thereof as shall
appear to Multiquip upon inspection to have been defective in
material and workmanship.
A statement giving model and serial number of the product,
date of sale to original purchaser and date and description of
failure shall accompany all parts. Any part or parts determined
by Multiquip to be Multiquip facility. Parts subject to
warranty must be reported to Multiquip within 30 days from the
date the part or parts were determined to be defective. Upon
request, parts must be returned to Multiquip for evaluation.
Such requests by Multiquip will be made within 90 days of
receiving the defective report. This warranty does not apply to
any part or parts which have been subject to abuse or
unauthorized repairs. Warranty with respect to products,
components and
accessories not manufactured by Multiquip is limited to the
warranty extended by the manufacturer of those items. Engine
manufacturers are responsible for engine warranties.
There are no warranties, express or implied, in addition to
the above except as may be provided in writing by Multiquip.
Multiquip shall not in any event be liable for any special
indirect or consequential damages. The foregoing warranties are
in place and in lieu of all warranties of merchantability and
fitness and sets forth the entire obligation of Multiquip. To
avoid misrepresentations with respect to products sold
hereunder, the Dealer agrees that no warranties, or other
operating guarantees on any products covered by this agreement
shall be
made in excess of those made by Multiquip.
